I haven't been paying any real attention to the gyro thing (except for that
one where the guy did the video from the view of his plane- that was something
worth doing!) for stable barrels as I would think a smaller, electronic leveler
that was used in R/C submarines to help keep them level once submerged would be
a bit more ideal as it takes about 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 5/8" (rough guess, been
while since I looked in the sub).
it plugs between the receiver and the servo. the gyro can be over ridden at
any time by the operator with their remote.
it would probably be much cheaper too.
