Nice touch. Kissing #$* always helps in this hobby ;-)

Yes indeed. The C6C generates servo signals as output and all of the
Anvilus products accept servo signals as inputs. Joe designed the C6C
specifically to work in the standard servo world.

"CheapBus" (tm) is our working code name for a new approach that uses
far fewer wires to control servos, relays, actuators and sensors
throughout the vehicle. Currently, most products use servo signals,
which require 3 wires to be run separately to each component. With the
CheapBus approach, components can be daisy-chained using a single pair
of wires to control everything. For example, all the components in the
turret can be controlled from a single pair of control wires run up from
the hull. Not only does it reduce wiring, but with a digital protocol
(instead of the analog servo signals) the logic requirements are
smaller, thereby reducing costs and increasing flexibility. For
example, you'll be able to have two components (say relay boards)
listening to the same signal regardless of where they are physically
located.

We're in the design stage now, expect to see prototypes in the spring
battle reports. Expect to start riding the CheapBus in the summer or
fall :-)

Simple. Just send construction photos and captions for each photo to my
email address (not the mailing list) and I'll post them on the website
in the Pending category. When you have a "rolling chassis" (can move
under remote control) I'll give you an official designation and you'll
receive all the glory and honor associated with it. No money required -
although contributions are always welcome :-)
