Thank you for this advice, yes a light duty servo is the method I was looking to use.
Incidentally I have had to beef up the rear springs on the Jeep due to the extra
weight of the market and support frame (made out of Meccano).
Any suppliers you would recommend for the servos\radio?

I've found that most any standard duty servo is fine
for actuating the mechanical markers like the XJ40.
I'm assuming the electronic markers could be actuated
with light duty servos and/or electronic switches.
I like the prices of Hitec radios. They seem to be a
good value and are reliable.
