Yes.

When you purchase a wireless gamepad, it comes with a corresponding
receiver (male) that plugs into the PlayStation socket (female). The
C6C comes with a socket (female) that accepts the wireless receiver and
connects the signal lines to the microprocessor.

The black socket under the "Wireless Receiver" tag is connected to the
"C6C" in the middle of the picture. The "Wireless Gamepad" is not
connected to anything. A dreamGear gamepad is shown in that photo, but
the Pelican looks basically the same.

I've personally tested the Pelican and dreamGear gamepads and they both
had a range of 50 feet with no problems and started to lose signal at
about 90 feet. The receiver has to be oriented vertically for the
longest range, but at 50 feet or less, it didn't really matter much.
