mark, he is how I have worked out the problem of hard surface wear and
tare
Now this isn't the finished tread as the green part should be removed (from
both sides), but the yellow part is to be brass square tubing. It can be casted
in 2 ways. The first will be where the brass is attached to the tread using
contact cement on both surfaces or where I can cast the link with the brass in
it. These links will be getting attached to attachment chain with 2 small bolts.
I was hoping to have had some of the links cast up before Christmas but that
doesn't look very promising at this point.
oh and if your wondering what the dark gray part is at the bottom, it's
that "W" looking webbing that you see on most German track links.
