Here
are two pictures of the one of partially completed markers. All the Tippman 98
Custom guts fit nicely inside the new aluminum housing. Once I mount the
triggering solenoid and the barrel, it should be ready to try out.
The
curved shroud that the marker sticks through is purely for looks, it isn't
structural or mechanical at all. I made it from a piece of 6" PVC pipe. The
functional pivot for elevation is made from 1" aluminum. The painballs actually
load through a tube on the OUTSIDE of the tank. Sacrificed a little bit of looks
for a lot of convenience. The cocking lever as well will be reachable from the
outside.
