Hi tom

I use to fibreglass all the time is that what you are
talking about.

anyway I'll tell you how to do it write:

1) after making the plug you should coat it in a
sealent.(watered down PVC wood glue is good,)sand when
dry.

2)paint it with auto paint.

3)When happy with the paint job.

4) then I Give three coats of mold wax (not floor wax)

5) then two coats of PVC release.

It should come out clean.

If using the mold more then once you can then cut down
to two wax&one PVC.
