Running two 24v motors in "parallel" off a single 24v battery is the
"normal" way to do things. That is, each motor has two wires running
directly to the battery terminals.
Although you could run two 12v motors in "series" off a single 24v
battery, that would be an unusual approach and depending on the internal
resistance of each motor, one would run faster than the other.
