I'd think you'd want to avoid expanded PVC which has a brand name of
Sintra, and IRRC Alcobond and Celltec make some also. The expanded
stuff has a foamy look on the edges. The solid kind looks uniformly
dense on the edges. I'm guessing the expanded kind wouldn't stand up
to rough treatment. US plastic sells both types under the "PVC"
heading.
