IMO they need to be locked down.  Case in point.  This last battle in the
heat of battle I rammed the Cromwell full speed into the barrel of Naverone
gun.  I ended up pushing the Naverone ten feet down the road.  The area of
impact was to the right side of the turret (see pic in battle reports).
Without the secure mounting of the Cromwell's turret it would have been
ripped off the vehicle.

Second case in point.  During Saturdays battle I hit a small tree stump at
full speed which pushed the Cromwell up on it's side thus giving Frank an
easy mercy kill.  A gravity mounted turret would have fallen off.
