When the hobby was first envisioned the rules were left open in many areas
to not stifle innovation. Hence we currently don't have speed limits and
firing limits. The current active battlers don't seem to have a problem
with high rates of fire so no rule restrictions have been made do date.

This is not a scale hobby, it's a battling hobby. The only homage to scale
we make is that the vehicle must look something like a current or past
production tank.

It's this fact that limits a good commandeers firing rate. You learn to
pick and choose your shots with care (unless you like spending all your time
reloading). High rates of fire are usually reserved when your in close and
it's a kill or be killed situation.
