Hello.

My name is Martin and I live in Norway.

I am new here, but I am not new to RC stuff.

My background is from RC Planes (GLOW) and El. Cars. (Competition and drifting), but I have no experience in powerful electrical motors which are going to power a 15-40kg tank. So I need help…

I need to buy motors for my future battle tank. There are no battles in Norway (as far I know) but I want to do it for my hobby.

Unfortunately I can’t buy Motors in Norway, as Norway is a very bad country to find such things like pars for battle bots, RC tanks and so on…

I am planning to build German Leopard 2 A6 tank witch is one of the best tanks in the world right now, or a German Tiger 1 tank, or Polish T34 (build in Russia)… Leo is my first choice.

After reading mailing list, I can’t really find proper info about witch motor to use.

So I am posting few motors and can you guys tell me if they can be used for my tank (Scale 1:6 so the weight will be pretty heavy)..

1 motor: 450 Watt - 24 Volt Electric Scooter Motor With Built in Roller Clutch XyD-6B, 24 Volt, 450 Watt, 2300 R/Min , 28 Amp -< Ebay item#: 110009588402

2 motor: NPC-41250 form http://www.robotmarketplace.com/

3 motor: S28-150 Magmotor from http://www.robotmarketplace.com/

4 motor: NPC-02446 from http://www.robotmarketplace.com/

5 motor: Astroflight Cobalt 940 Motor from http://www.robotmarketplace.com/

6 motor: Any other motors? Which and where to buy?

Thank you for all help.

Martin
