Do you know whar size chain and bols he is using ??? This looks like it might work with the "Pin Drive", like was used on the door hinge track....Hmmmmm Ever more considerations....

Attached you will find current photos of my Sherman Firefly.
As you can see, I've finished my track and boggie wheels.
I still need to complete the drive sprocket and idler wheels.
Right now the track will turn on some mock-up wheels so my kids (and me) can play with it.
You will also notice that the track is slack. The tension still needs set.
 
What I like about your system is the way it drives the track.
I may see if this can work with my track.
