I was looking at some co2 guns and I was wondering if there was a 12 or 24 volt solenoid that I could use in a paintball gun to open the air chamber instead of a trigger released bolt. I could use a low powered solenoid as a ball selector. I would make the setup out of an aluminum block. I wouldn't need to use any air for blow back and get about a 50% increase in the number of shots fired. Another option is the use of a solenoid to drive the bolt instead of a spring.
I won't be able to christen my tank with paint in the next battle because I take the ACT tests on the 28 and I am also going to the Penn State Harrisburg open house that weekend.
