Is the 3V control signal the only power source or do
you have higher voltage/current available?
If you have other power (+6 or 12V) simply use the 3V
to forward bias a 2N2222 to ground the relay coil
connected between the collector and the other power.
If not, you can switch a solid-state relay with ~3V.
