I agree on that. I drove it several times now and as John said it stretches
after a while, since sand and stuff gets stuck inside the track piece and
the connecting pin and causes wear. Sometimes, when performing skid turns,
the tracks jump over the sprockets and have to be forced into the right row
of slots (hope this makes any sense!). I did not include a tensioning system
in my tank but I guess I have to now.
My decision to use these chains is that I spent a lot of time building the
tracks on the big tank (designated T028) and could not be bothered to do so
a second time. Plus these tracks look cool (as long as you order them in the
proper color :-), especially on German tanks.
They are the lightest tracks available, but also the most expensive in the
hobby I guess. I paid around 150 euro's (must be somewhere around 200
dollar) for 20 ft of grey chain and 4 sprockets, that's 2 per track.
