That's one of the best things about it.  I've used the gamepad in the 
Tiger and Goer during battles and it really is nice and compact.  More 
importantly, if I can easily carry a spare in case the gamepad breaks, 
which itself is unlikely.

No. You'll have to look to the 3rd party market for such add-ons :-)

Seriously, it's designed to be a drop-in replacement for a stock 
receiver.  Since they don't have on-board switches or LEDs, we decided 
not to include them either.

Depends on the brand of gamepad you're using.  Wired gamepads are 
powered directly by the C6C, so it will last as long as you want using 
the receiver's battery.  Wireless gamepads use different battery 
configurations and power depending on the model.  The one I'm using 
claims that it will last 100 hours on a couple AA batteries.  In all 
cases, a full weekend of battling (4 hours) should not be a problem.
