Subject: Re: Machine Guns. [TANKS]
Having over 3 years in airsoft experiance, I truthfully dont see how the
rc tank combat could intergrate airsoft for battling purposes. Those airsoft
"paintballs" you may see, arent worth anything. They jam in the guns, which
should never, ever be used in AEG's (Automatic Electric gun, aka, the
2-300$ Tokyo Marui, CA, etc. guns) and they only break maybe 1 out of 10.
You need a lot of force to break one of those, and most "of the shelf" guns
havn't got that power. Either way, those things are a waste of money, as they
jam, and break in the gun, and thus, make a big mess.
Now, for demo uses, such as just to have an airsoft gun on the tank which
shoots the regular 6mm plastic bb's, I could see that as being a neat feature.
I have even concidered putting an LPEG (Low Powered electric gun) in one
of my tanks just for fun.

I
seem to remember suggestions of AirSoft type guns as machine guns
but
the rules don't reflect such a thing, right now I think it would be
pretty neat to have even if were just for demo's and such. Any chance
this might be added in the future?
