Oh OK Francisco ,

thanks  for the info.  I saw the model painted and with markings so I assumed some Maresals went into service. Only a historically inaccurate 1:76 scale model?

    Hmm, dont think it would pass part II, 1 of the construction rules. As it was the first preproduction prototypes didn't see the light of day till late 1944, no more then ten were under constructin or finished when in October of that year the Russians ordered all work on the program stopped, and then destryed nearly all the documentation along with the prototypes. As for the vehicle it was based of the chassies of captured T-60 tanks, and the Germans and the Romanians argue over what was first the Hetzer or the Maresal, both sides accusing the other of being a copying cat.

 

All the same a cool tank.
