Well, my batts and RS80D will probably ride on some medium density packing foam since I have an abundance of that stuff at work.  As it breaks down, I'll replace it with new.  Working on my ASU-85 tonight, got one side of my gear reduction for the EV Warriors mounted.  Hopefully I will be able to do a live test run (minus upper hull) this weekend.  Have some suspension clearance issues to work out.  My gear reduction and motor mounting only uses 9" of linear space in the rear of the ASU-85 since the rear deck is so high.  I used that space to build my reduction up as opposed to long.  Frees up a lot of space for batteries and the marker.  I'll try to get some pics up on Monday if I get it running.

What are people using to shock mount electronics?

Right now I have a spring cushioned project box. I wasn't sure if
springs were better than rubber grommets. I guess you're just trying to
reduce large blows, right? Its hard for me to imagine these chips
failing because of non-electrical jolts.

How about batteries? shaken or stirred?
