what's the actual battery amp, 12 vt, 10amp, etc..
 
also, i think the guys shy away from these kinds of battery packs due to heat and humidity as they will take a beating where as sealed lead acid / gel cell batteries won't (and everyone uses them -- or so i have noticed)

How many inch/pounds of torque would I need for a Hetzer sized tank?  I have 2 options for the gearbox. a 6/1 or an 8/1 reduction.  the 6/1 would go about 680 rpm with 450 inch/pounds of torque.  at 8/1 it would go 550 rpm at 600 inch/pounds of torque.  the design would be around 75 lbs thanks to these Ni-mh batteries we found.
