Subject: [TANKS] gearing down vs amp draw

Now I know this isn't an exact science (due to tank weight and such) but say i have a 5.2 reduction in the RPMs (2600 rpm -at- 22 amps divided by 5.2 gearing) to the fianl shaft, would the amp draw kinda follow the same path (would be nice if it was that simple) making it 22 amp divided by 5.2 = 4.23 amp - like i said, it sure would be nice as it would mean i could use less amp battery and making the tank lighter drawing even less of an amp load.
