now if i use 20 tooth sprockets..................
the motor's max rpm is 2600 rpm -at- 24vt
motor gear 10 tooth to first gear 20 tooth making the rpm 1300
second gear 12 tooth (on same shaft as gear one) to axel shaft 20 tooth - guessing the rpm will be 780 rpm (maybe a bit too fast).
20/10 x 20/12 = 3.3333333
2600/3.3333333 = 780 rpm - hay, i like this formula! (now how do we use this formular to get a winning lottery ticket?)
now with 18 tooth ...............
the motor's max rpm is 2600 rpm -at- 24vt
motor gear 10 tooth to first gear 18 tooth making the rpm 1444.4444
second gear 12 tooth (on same shaft as gear one) to axel shaft 18 tooth - guessing the rpm will be 628.0139 rpm (maybe a bit too fast). just noted i had 28 rather than 18 - maybe that's where i screwed u the first time.
wait, now i'm gearing in the wrong direction, lets try 25 tooth sprockets, that should give me about 499 rpm
