Okie dokie, here's how it was explained to me and how mine works.  First, I start with my EV Warrior motor with a 10 tooth sprocket on it running at 4480 RPMs.  Then I connect that 10 tooth to a 40 tooth sprocket (4:1) reduction bringing my RPMs to 1120.  On that same shaft, I have a 9 tooth sprocket.  That 9 tooth is then direct connected to an 18 tooth sprocket (2:1) reduction bringing my final output RPMs to 560.  4480 divided by 560 equals a final reduction ratio of 8:1.  Hopefully that is right and explains the whole equation.  The number of teeth on the sprockets is directly proportional to the reduction.

anyway, I am a bit stuck on working out the rpm's in one spot............

the motor's max rpm is 2600 rpm -at- 24vt

motor gear 10 tooth to first gear 36 tooth
second gear 12 tooth (on same shaft as gear one) to axel shaft 36 tooth with a ttrack drive sprocket of 3.9" / 9.906 cm and that will have a cir. of 12.25"/31.12 cm

anyone have a easy way to figure this out? just trying to see if i have a decent rpm/speed range
