Not true. I use 15 and 17 tooth sprockets. I think he has the wrong
pitch sprockets. Can you post a picture of the chain and sprocket
together?

I'm using some of Wills chain on my tank, T-29. You must use even
numbered teeth or the chain will lock up. I started out with 14t and
settled on 16t.

So to teeth go between each link right? Thats what my sprockets do.
Atleast thats what the guy at the chain store recommended.
