Hey guys!
I have been reading the posts and getting some really good ideas for a tank
or two. Wish I could make it to a battle or two but until I finnish CRNA school
spare time is not an option. I do have some experience with CNC machines though.
I have been drawing some Walker Bulldog plans on my CAD. Cutting large
pieces on a small CNC machine can be done. The limiting factor is the width of
the machine. I had a home built 2'x4' router that I could cut pieces as long as
I wanted, I was limited to the 2' width. I use Turbo Cad for 2D stuff. I just
make a stopping point in my drawing when they are longer than my table. I run
the cut up to the point, then move the piece down and continue. Hope this
helps. Roy in NJ.
