Hi all

I've been tying to remember how I used to use
cardboard and resin.

IF using cardboard from news paper shops.

You will not build strength and light.

You will get strength but not lightness because you
have too use thick cardboard and resin as well as
fibreglass.

The alternative is if you take your time get cardboard
box that's the one with corrugation in middle.

1) cut shape you want coat it with PVA glue (water
base glue) bend too shape let dry completely.
(light coats as it could distort )

2) then start covering in fibreglass and resin.

this will cut down in weight you use less resin.

make shore that you don't fill in the middle of the
cardboard but make shore the ends are closed off with
glass and resin..

This should give you what you need.
all best Kev
