How hard is it to switch out the toggle switch for a NO push button switch?  I'm sure it's just like soldering two (or three) wires, but is there anything I need to be careful of when doing the change over?

If you have no problem opening up your Tx up and cutting some wires then it's not that difficult. I didn't actually replace a toggle switch with a NO (normally open) pushbutton but wired the pushbutton inline with the gear up/down switch (channel 5 on my Tx).  Now I use the toggle to "arm" the firing circuit and the pushbutton to "fire".  The pushbutton was installed in an empty spot that I found in the Tx casing.

Do you have any specs on the pushbutton switch you used?

Radio Shack sells a little red pushbutton that works well.  You will probably have to drill and/or modify the Tx casing a bit to mount the pushbutton.

Obviously any mods you make to your Tx will void any warranties you may have.  I avoid this by buying old, cheap radio gear off of eBay.
