I haven't had time to post the battle summaries for "The Intervention",
but I can say that it was a very successful event. When Will and I
arrived at the field, Mr. Tyng was sitting in a lawn chair, with
sunglasses on, listening to Steely Dan and asking us "why can't everyone
just get along?" Despite our best efforts to engage him in technical
discussions or even just a little smack-talking, he was just too mellow.
Fortunately, after a couple rounds of paint therapy, Mr. Tyng started to
respond well to the treatments. By the lunch break he was talking about
technical designs and by the end of the day he wanted to form a new army
of recruits to take on the Maryland Attack Group itself. Just like the
Steve we've always known :-)
Anyway, John shot some excellent gun-sight battle video. The high-res
files are a little large and jumpy at times, but worth the viewing. He
also wrote down some lessons learned to document some of his personal
fun during the day. You can view the videos and read the lessons
learned at:

I'll try to get the summaries posted soon, but with my family vacation
starting on Friday, they may have to wait another week or so.

PS. I'm excited to hear that a battle is brewing in The Netherlands and
I'm really looking forward to some battle photos and articles from that
event. Building is fun, but battling is the best!!!
