HI all, Just put up some pics of a project have been working on.http://www.robowars.org/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=1247&sid=e014d6ed7f75cf0e15eca156cfccab14
Took a while deciding what to build and it initially started as a King Tiger with an interleaved torsion suspension system. Then I decided I wanted a tank that had the drive sprocket at the rear. It was looking like a Sheridan for a while but then I rediscoverd the tank that it replaced in the M41 Bulldog and Knew that was it.
The body is just flat panels, pretty easy, mostly like a T34 with a few more steps, but the turret is very complex but its very large.
Was hoping to do a build report for this but its half the size of your tanks being just over a foot wide.
There are4 areas on this with ideas that might help some of you. The drive sprocket, tracks, suspension and transmission have been done with some unique ideas.
Will eventually take some more pics when I find somewhere to host them.
Last thing to mention is that the motors are 100 watt scooter motors running at 36volts which would make then 200watts each and it weighs 16 kilos as per the photo
