I think you're wrong there. From what I read on the mailing list one motor
can consume up to 90 Amps at stall. If you have a 60 Amps fuse for both
motors, one motor can use 60 in a turn while the other one uses less. If you
have a 40 Amp SSR it is likely to blow. My StuG has a 30 Amp fuse for each
plus motor lead for that reason. Never blown one untill now.

I'd try a double fuse set up, just to be sure.

Since I modified my StuG that's my idea as well. The ride is a lot smoother
and les bumpy.
