I ran my tank a few days ago.  Everything worked fine until the screw that held the gear to the motor shaft came out.  I checked the inside of the tank and I noticed that the motors were hot.  I have some fans inside but they don't do much.  Should I worry about the heat or should I just leave it alone?

I have found some dust and dirt coming in from the rear tensioning wheels.  How should I seal this and still be able to adjust it?
