Jeffery,
The Abrams hull length is only 312 inches, not 384 inches. Consequently
a 1/10 scale M1A1 is too small for RC Tank Combat. 1/8 scale will be about
the minimum.
Please see "Hobby" at www.anvilus.com
I provided full-size and 1/8 scale specs, hull drawings and a link
to the Yahoo! Abrams group. They have many excellent drawings
there. The XM1 drawings show overall dimensions.
I have a working 1/8 scale aluminum Abrams hull with torsion bar
suspension. The turret may get completed some day.
