One more thing I forgot to mention about the Velleman USB I/O board. The PWM channels operate at 1KHz. I suspect that may be too slow for good pulse width modulation control. For example, my motor controller has an operating maximum of 10Khz, but they don't specify a practical minimum.
I'm hoping Joe Somer or another motor control guru can answer this for us. What do you say ? Is 1KHz acceptable for a PWM signal ?
Thanks,
Doug
