With a sprocket drive TTS the drive sprocket WILL set the spacing.

This depends on your sprocket design. The sprocket teeth on the
Cromwell are 3/8" wide so the spacing on the Cromwell tracks is 3/8"
WHEN the track is wrapped around the sprocket. The spacing opens up
when laying flat.
