I picked up an Invacare Lynx Scooter's drive system, wiring harness complete with
speed control and forward/reverse, two 12volt 17amp batters and onboard charger.
The drive system has a differential in it. The specs say that it will go 5-1/2 mph
with a maximum load of 220 lbs.
I have been wondering if this single motor and drive system will work on a tank.
Since it has a differential drive axle, wouldn't a simple brake on each drive
sprocket work to steer it? Or is it more complicated than that?
Any and all comments welcome?
