A good motive. I have built a few tanks and now am looking for a challenge,
so I can experiment and not be bummed when I cant battle because my tank
doesn't work, I simply use one of my other tanks.
But on the other hand you don't want the hobby to stagnate. You need to keep
pushing the performance/design envelope, otherwise everyone will have ev w's
on 12 volts 9/1 reduction, which is good but not great. Even 24v ev's will
eventually be "obsolete" and some new fantastic smaller lighter more
powerful cheaper motor will replace them.
So I'm just keeping up with the hobby, which in my opinion still has A LOT
of room for improvement, before it can take over the world;-)
