As I am far away from the site of presently sheduled battles I thought I might
throw out this idea for a reasonably cheap Idea to add another dimension to some
future battle.
A couple of large cheap
blue plastic tarps available from harbor freight or locally from stores like
Fleet Farm (wisconsin) to represent bodies of water and bridges. The
bridges could initially just be spaces between the tarps to represent natural
bridges but some creative person could put togather some cheap plywood ones as
well. My thought is that the bridges are only wide enough for
one tank to fit through and rails or rules to prevent tanks from
firing while on the bridge. It might make for some interesting
manuvering chalenges with the ability to control (perhaps destroy) bridges,
pin tanks against the edge of the water, and close lines of retreat. With
a simple rule if your tank touches the tarp you are mired
in mud.
Of course water area could be
marked out with stakes and string, but the big blue tarps would provide an
instant visual referrence and are not overly expensive.
Just a
thought
