I am evaluating several components for a potential 1/6 scale Hetzer
kit as shown in
http://www.rctankcombat.com/press/TankExpo2006/04Hetzer.jpg
Major components shown in the photo are:
plastic Hetzer from James DeSimone - $100 - eBay item 6043134240
ABS track from Major Midnite - $100 - eBay item 6042996088
two DeWalt DW960 right angle drills - $75 each - eBay item 7598700214
eight 5 inch wheels - $2 each - Herbach & Rademan item TM89WHL2677
two flange mount bearings - $11 each - McMaster-Carr item 5913K51
I am currently getting nylon drive sprockets cut by water jet.
The goal is a VERY light weight vehicle.
The plastic Hetzer hull was graciously donated by Leif Goodson.
It was used as a static prop in the Battle for Smallville.
