would these gear reducers be able to gear down motors or are they to
big/not enough,any thoughts? Trying to get the best deal when buying gear
reducing equipment for motors, I would also like to know if these could be
adapted to the motor previsuoly listed from surpluscenter that is like the
EV-warrior (forgot name)

Worm Gear Speed Reducers |
The
ultimate in mounting flexibility for easy incorporation into your
machinery, these speed reducers have a hollow output on both the
left- and right-hand sides for mounting onto a shaft. Designed for
use with NEMA 56Cmotors, they operate clockwise or counterclockwise
and can be mounted in any position. Sealed for lifetime lubrication,
they have an aluminum housing that is epoxy painted inside and out
for corrosion resistance and features integral heat sinks for cool
running. Worm and shaft are steel; worm gear is bronze. Maximum
input speed is 4000 rpm.
Optional plug-in shaft
(sold separately) plugs into either side to let you choose left-
or right-hand shaft output. |
