I have a sound module that reproduces the turbine sounds (and cannon, turret, coax MG) for the 1/9th Abrams (21st Century) to replace the stock piston sounds on that RC model.  Info and a movie clip are out on my site at http://www.foxflier.com/abrams

I have one in line to be built for a gent with a 1/8th metal Abrams that will plug directly into his receiver.  I'll be building in a decoder to do that switching.

It could be used to produce sounds for any tank.  I'm also building proportional skid/steer control modules that include the sound.

Regards,

Ted

Hi

Has anyone made their own sound card for engine and gun sounds ? if so are you interested in making and selling one.

I have a home made sound card I picked up for a machine gun that fits into a rc plane so wondered if anyone here had did the same

I know the Tamiya one is available but not sure if it will plug straight into one of ours and work off a servo or if a lot more is needed to be done

Also with theirs made for 1/16  scale would it sound right in 1/6th scale

btw if anyone is interested  look at http://public.fotki.com/pcmodeler  for some good reference photo's i.e. there is 109 close up pic of a Sherman
