The only factor that might stop people building it is the actual building 
it. It's pretty labor intensive but the finished product dwarfs any building 
disadvantages. It's one of the lighter tracks (no steel) has the most 
surface area (won't sink) and seems to be very reliable when made right (my 
tigers tracks are fine and they get pretty hammered) and now with the 
sprocket drive version you can have suspension, win win.
All my tanks use TTS tracks.
