I just did this on my 9CAP about 3 weeks ago.  If you can wait until this afternoon I can grab my radio and write down the steps I did.  And yes it took me about an afternoon to figure it out on my own due to the fact that all of the instructions refer to aircraft functions even though mine is on a 75Mhz ground frequency from the factory.

Well, here goes my first question:

I have a Futaba 9CAP, and I want to program it for my future RC tank. I wish to use the right stick to control movement
ie: forward=both motors forward
stick backwards = both motors backwards
stick left= left motor backwards right motor forwards
stick right = right motor backwards left motor forwards
Middle = all motors idle

Thus freeing up my left stick for turret action. Now I'm sure I could chug 6 coffee's and stay up all night trying to figure it out, but I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, so I'll ask out there.
