I'm back and have some questions so here goes.

First are these, the same as (or close to) EVs.

I have changed directions and I'm now going for a Churchill Mk VI, but not
being mechanically inclined I need some help and pointers for the
transmission. So it seems that a 9 to 1 gear reduction has been used
successfully so I'll go with that. For roller chain most use 35# right? I am
planing on using Plastic Conveyor Tracks like the Hetzer so I will need a
belt somwhere in the setup for slippage right?

If I do a 9 to 1, I will need a 10 tooth and a 30 tooth plus two identical
cogs/wheels for the belts right? On the topic of belts what type of belts
are used and where can I get them?

On too batteries, what do the veterns recommed 12 volt or 24 volt batteries?
How many? What type, sealed gel batteries, right? What other things do I
need to look for when getting batteries? and what type of charger?

Heat sinks, people mention making them from aluminium "U" channel, is the
alumninum just glued to the motor?

Last but not least what do I need to know about bearings?

Thanks for the help everyone,
