Mine also uses a spring per wheel (12). At first the springs I had were a 
bit softer, I thought they would hold my tank up, and they did but when you 
push down on the hull they didn't bring it back up:-( so the new springs are 
about twice as hard so when you push down on the hull it gets air when you 
let it back up:-) (not really but close). the springs are 2 7/16-3/4-.105 
made buy century springs (centuryspring.com) they have lots of different 
springs, mine are the c-175's.
