The current material is 20mm strap from a ratchet tie down (prototpye), and
will see how it goes
the sprocket is constructed by first making the wheel on my table saw, then
mounting it on a jig to cut the slots for the tabs on my router, the tabs
are 6mm ply, but as the sherman has 13 teeth on the sprocket, it makes it
hard to get the spacing correct (27.69 degrees), I also made the hub too big
so have to make it again smaller,
Thank god for air powered staple guns

Pete,
What material are you using for the middle strap? It looks like braided
nylon safety strap. Is it? Do the others on the list think that 4" wide
braided nylon sling strap would work for making a TTS style track? Have not
yet been able to find any old tread mill belts out here yet.
Looks cool so far,
John
