When I bought my EVWs, they came with a steel bushing with an 8mm ID and
a 1/2" OD (which was used to drive the bicycle wheel they were designed
to propel). So, I simply bought 1/2" ID sprockets and put a pin
thruough everything.
I'll bet that a mechanical supply company sells metric/english bushings,
but I haven't look for them myself because I already solved the problem.
The simplest way to make a similar bushing is to get some 1/2" bronze
rod and drill out an 8mm hole with a lathe.
