Wow Steve, I don't know how much I would pay for a kit.  Let me think about
that.  We pay several hundred for ship kits and several hundred more to get
them running and on the water.

No, you do not need a suspension and I don't recommend one unless you
really really want one.

I built the suspension on the Cromwell not because I wanted a suspension
but to support a requirement.  That requirement was to run two EV
Warrior motors at 24V.  This requirement means 3.1 HP at full power.
All this power means a very fast tank.  Unless your running on a
perfectly smooth surface a fast vehicle should have a suspension.  It
doesn't stop there though.  A suspension adds the requirement for a
sprocket drive.  A sprocket drive TTS (which I was committed to)
requires a very high level of precision to build.  This means jigs, CNC
machining, and a lot of time and patience.
