If you just want to get out on the field and battle - no. If you want to
get out on the field and run circles around everybody else - yes! ;-)
All kidding aside. You do not need a suspension to be an effective battler.
If you build your non-suspended tank strong and cushion your more delicate
internal components, you'll be fine.
