I must agree with Steve.
For over two years, I have tried to develop a cheap two-channel reversible
proportional
ESC for our hobby. My hybrid relay controller is my simplest solution at
$150 while
the custom H-bridge SSR controller in my Hetzer costs about $250 in parts.
I have also tried using elevon mixing built into my Hitec radio with two
IFI Victor
single channel ESCs. However 40A Victors cost $115 each and standard
elevon mixing
in my radio only provides full speed in the corners of joystick travel.
If you absolutely feel the need to "do it yourself", I would be pleased to sell
pre-programmed chips and schematics from my board (no PCB, no connecters,
no relays, no SSRs, no servo wires) at cost.
